Dr. Andrew Bock

In 2021, Dr. Andrew Marc Bock became the 40th Fellow of the International Academy of Low Vision Specialists (www.IALVS.org) After receiving post-Doctoral training with renowned Low Vision expert Dr. Richard Shuldiner, President and Founder of IALVS. Dr. Bock earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Vision Science and a Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry, where he was first introduced to Low Vision. He saw his first Low Vision patient during his senior year at an outreach clinic in Las Vegas. The patient had vision loss due to Albinism, and Dr. Bock was able to fit her with special bioptic glasses to enable her to drive. For over 42 years, Dr. Bock has had a passion for helping people with challenging and complex vision issues. He looks forward to providing his Low Vision patients with specialty eyewear designed to improve their ability to read, watch television, drive, play cards, and pursue other hobbies, even when they have been told "nothing more can be done". Dr. Bock and his wife love taking road trips, especially throughout California. He also enjoys golf, basketball, cooking, and playing Chopin and Mozart on his piano. Dr. Bock sees patients in various locations across California, including the San Gabriel and San Fernando Valleys and throughout Central California. If you or someone you know is struggling with Low Vision, call 949-264-6002 to schedule a free phone consultation with Dr. Bock.
